There comes a point here in Fairbanks when your nose hairs and eyelashes freeze immediately upon stepping outside. Last night we were feeling it when we took the dogs out for their walk. It feels good to be alive. The cold wakes you up to that feeling and reminds you that, yes, you really are alive.
